Wtf...

this morning went to get my headers done at a shop that install performance... im happy that im getting installed then 3 hours past by i get no word on my car, im like wtf is going on here... then the owner comes up too me and said " we have a problem" im like FUDGE , then he tells me " the dude badly damaged my hood to a point where i have to repace it..."
-- long story short he decided to give me an option either keep my car for a couple of days and call honda for a honda fit hood ( brand new) or get a Carbon Fiber hood ( brand new on them) on my car...
-- i went with the carbon fiber OEM hood... and they will install it for free either monday or friday...

if you wanted an OEM hood would they have paid for that too? and also, is an OEM hood or a CF hood more expensive?

my car got hit a while ago, so i did a little research on parts, the oem hood from honda is about $250, the CF hood is about $400, both unpainted.

that's what i wanna know too. I mean the hood has nothing 2 do w/ the headers lol. Maybe they lifted the car on a lift and the hood was open and struck something on the roof?

They lifted the car that high? Unless the roof/lift top is that low.... The hood barely goes past the roof line.

Awesome on the new hood. Make sure they dont screw that up.
Check for cracks and big scratches, even those its free.
