HELP!! Short Shifter Problems

HELP!! Short Shifter Problems

So i just bought the Skunk2 short shifter adapter and im stuck...can someone help with a detailed version of the install???

im stuck on the part where i have to lossen the shifter cables by turn the locking ring counter-clockwise. HOW DO I TURN IT!! IT WONT TURN

okay thanks, but now im stuck again on having to remove the bushing from the pivot ball... i dont want to break the bushing so what should i do

alright...past the pivot ball and bushing thing... now im stuck on the shifter extension... how do i position it correctly over the pivot ball?? I know it says to use locktite, but what is that for?

i did that, but the screws aren't holding it in place...and what is the loctite for?

loctite is basically like a glue for the screws, it prevents them from coming loose. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT because ur always moving the shifter and u don't want it coming loose while ur driving so go get some blue loctite, not the red one but blue is perfect.

the set screws are not holding the pivot ball in place... how do i make it hold it in place.

The allen wrench required is not metric surprised to find out.
And you need your allen to be not rounded off or stripped, you can grind some off on a grinder if needed.
You can only start with the setscrews in a couple of turns, too far in and the extension wont go on all the way. Red loctite is ok too just that you will have to apply heat if you ever want to loosten the set screws.
