shinjari- yah it is good to have variety.. and its like the between my STI and R, they can cover the entire spectrum for my driving purpose.. aggressive and fun to sleeper/relaxing and fun. i just go by my mood that morning. kinda lost interest in RWD cars after my Z as roads are too cold when i'm out.

i really wish i had gotten the S3 instead of my GTI.. oh well, i'm kinda set to get the TiguanR next to replace my GTI when it's time.. been asking my wife if she wants my GTI. she said no. premium fuel + 27mpg = not interested. LOL

i was watching this new mazda cx5 review and each time the guy said something nice about the car, i chipped in my thoughts saying "for a stupid car."

my kids were cracking up saying i sound like grumpy cat. LOL faking mazda needs to get a new exterior designer.

I like Mazda's current exterior aesthetic.

But I dunno, I'm a weirdo who is currently intrigued by the 2018 Leaf.

is this it? did they improve driving distance from 80miles to hopefully over 200miles per charge?

The one two posts up is what it is rumored to look like.

Range is around 160 miles for 30k, less a $7500 federal rebate.

If I could pick up for 21-22k OTD, that's tough to turn down.

sounds good, 160miles is liveable, i thinks.

80miles is such a joke.. and there was this Leaf that cut me off while in my GTI the other day.. i was in the left lane on the expressway. SO ANNOYING how slow they are!

looking at how fast Tesla's go, i was expecting the little bugger to take off after cutting in front of me.. thing was so stupid slow it was like a versa note.

alright, got back from my garage.. checked oil level and psi on my R and STI. both checked out.

my GTI use to eat a lot of oil early on but my R has not consumed much.. not really a measureable amount. and its not like im real easy on the car either.. ive red line many times and bounced off the rev limiter a few times.

Yeah washed the Civic this weekend and sold some more Fit parts. Only things left are cusco bars, cargo liner, car cover and hood bra. Oh and a Axxess ASWC-1. Apparently the
new civic cant use the older model that was in my Fit so that will be sold.

I know Audi's burned oil later in life, but your New gti would burn oil initially?

Also that concept leaf looks cool and shares some lines from the rogue/murano. I hope they break the 200mile range. anything less than that is a deal breaker for me.

Lastly, I think a GE for GTI seems like a reasonable trade
