alright figured out wat other misc decor needed for porch so spent another couple hundred.. got some smaller potted faux plants which should be fun to place on the bench and all.

which is really nothing considering dat my pops use to spend several thousand every spring on real flowers and plants he would ask me (forced child labor?..lol) to help plant for him for tips. yah he tipped me well but been traumatized.. i hate planting plants.

Happy Saturday guys.

Relaxing this morning. Have a friends wedding which is 100 miles away...and starting at 430pm...then driving home tonight....gonna be a LONG day lol. Not to mention its an outdoor wedding and its gonna be 90 degrees...gonna be sweating like a MoFo.

Went and looked at MBP's yesterday and GF really liked the 13" but would've liked the 15" due to the screen size. If only it wasn't almost double the price and had that touch bar she doesn't need.

shinjari- oh mang i feel for ya.. 90F in a suit or tux is going to SUCK big time.

im just not good with heat, especially heat+humidity where my body starts to shutdown and i become literally ill.. weird how my body is supposed to be able to tolerate 100F RH100% as im from jland.. lol when i have to visit the south and southeast ocean ports for work, i wear a polo shirt cause dere is no way in hell i would come back alive wearing dress shirts sport coat and maybe a tie. haha

i run the 13" mbp's. its a great size, not too small like dem 11-12" pc laptops and yet not too clunky as far as portability. mbps weigh a ton vs laptops so for me 13" is a prefect size. when watching movies and stuff, i run my 21" screen in my music room.

woot wife said she's going to do a carry out and bring home da burrito's. waz kinda running out of time cause her meeting (yah shes into IT and working today) was taking forever to end and i haz a time sensitive errand i need to attend to dis pm..

she was complaining da fuel was $25 or something in da GK during her fill up dis am. i told her my STI sucked in $50 last weekend during da fill haha which is cheap compared to wat i waz paying during the recession about 7-8yrs ago.. $80 per fill in a 370z.

and dat car was so srow compared to my STI and R.. 0-60mph 5.5sec zzzzzz... my lightly modded GTI is faster.

near da end of ownership, da Z over lapped with my STI and i was like wtf is wrong with dis car.. 2nd gear is SO SLOW to wind up, throttle response is horrible.

sold it and got the R. never looked back mang. R is soooo much better.

Lady Babs called me a while ago. Seems her MINI is sending her distress messages. New brake pads & rotors. Looking to install EBC Redstuff pads & Centric rotors. Oh & a couple of wear sensors too. Heck better do a fluid flush while I'm at it. She got 50,000 miles on this set so that ain't bad. Babs is the last of the great late brakers.

Maybe I'll put faux brakes in..... LOL

I enjoyed my EBC greens and centric rotors.

50k miles is pretty respectable for pads.

My ex/baby momma was a terrible driver. Tail gates like a mofo so shes always slamming on brakes (explains why she's so accident prone and has gone thru more cars in 5 years than I have ever owned in my lifetime).

Anyhow go back 10+ years when we were still together, we had bought a brand new Scion tC 2006? 2007? Anyways after about 6 months...maybe more...she goes "the brakes are making noise". I check and sure enough they are making wear indicator noise...at <7500 miles! WTF!?! At the time I was driving my 2006 Frontier and had 30k miles and still the same set of pads.

Explained what had happened and why....clearly in one ear and out the other since she still drives horribly (according to my son and knowing how many cars she's wrecked).

Still doing lowering spring research...want low...but dont want to rub...Pro-kit seems logical but doesnt quite eliminate the wheel gap entirely. Sportlines eliminate but risk 'some' rubbing. Ugh. People on my Civicx forum need to be more descriptive than "i lowered it...looks good". I need details...before/after wheel center to wheel arch dimensions etc.

Happy Monday!
