Dropped Fit in Winter
Now that being said, I have had it out in the fresh stuff and while I'm sure it dragged some snow at times, I'm not too worried about it. You simply can't avoid it in a climate like ours in Canada. I'd be more worried about hitting ice chunks with the front skirt and stuff like that. I doubt fresh snow or powder will do any damage. If it did, most every car in Canada would be out of comission come Spring time. There are lots of cars on the road with similar ground clerance to our Fit's.
personally i'm much more terrified of sliding off the road than i am getting any damage from snow or anything.
i have had my plastic under the front of the car pretty badly scrapped up... also thank you to my schools inability to plow snow in a sane way.. they plowed a shit ton of snowy ice stuff into my front lip and scratced the crap outta it... oh well just an excuse to put a JDM style CF lip from Seibon on this summer!
We've been having some snow/ice here the past few days, ughhh. I made it home from work ok but my driveway was a different story. Luckily the snow was still soft so i made out ok, i'm lowered on Progress springs. I'll tel you what irritates the shit outta me though, the salt/rocks they put on the roads. I'm not sure if its the crappy Dunlops or what but they seem to pick up every little piece on the road, I'm afraid to see what the underside of my skirts look like.
