I finally got to talk to the lady who owns the Silver Fit that I have seen running around the valley. We were walking into Dollar General and she pulled up. I waited until she got out and said, " I love your Fit". She just laughed and said, Thanks!. I asked her if she had gotten it from Lester Raines Honda and she said yes in July of this year. She loves the car and I was wearing my Fit Freak hoodie and told her about the forum. She was not a young person so I don't know if she will join or not but it was cool to finally talk to another Fit owner. I'm sure most Fit owners around here will look at my Mugened Fit and think what the heck! I told her mine was red (I had parked around the corner of the store out of sight) and she said that the MR was what she originially had wanted but they did not know when they would get another one in so she settled for the Silver. Lester Raines had a total of three Fits on the lot last week only two left now. A base Tidewater and a Sport VBP.

Op! I am sure she meant that she wanted the MR but did not want to wait so went with the Silver which was on the lot. I had the same experience My last three vehicles were silver - I test drove a silver sport but wanted a change from silver so I waited because they were suppose to get a VBP in mid -May. The VBP did not show up and I did not want to wait any longer so when the MR became available I "settled" for it and I am really happy that I decided to go with it instead of waiting another month for the VBP which showed up in mid-June. Not putting down the Silver Fits' they are great but I was just posting what our conversation was. When you would really like one color and you settle for something different it just means you decided to go with what was there instead of waiting.

I guess we were both too eager to get our Fits to wait on our first choice of color - forgive the misunderstanding!

We should all whine to Honda about the lack of white Fits this year. Ya find a car ya like, and then it freakin doesn't come in WHITE? Geez!

 

Yes, a white car is any line up of colors for any kind of car. White is just classic and the white Fit is really sharp.
