While I was out running errands today, I looked over and saw a couple getting into a VBP Sport. I just couldn't resist saying "hi". We didn't talk for long, but we both raved about how much we love our Fits. The guy said he likes the Fit better than his S2000. I didn't get a chance to mention FitFreak, but if that couple is on this board, I enjoyed talking to you today.

 

I've found that MOST Honda drivers in general are pretty outgoing people.

It is humerous to me that they said they liked the Fit better than their S2000. I have both and I wouldn't say that I like my Fit better, but it does give me a whole different feel when driving it. I like it for its Fun factor. The S2000 I love for its serious performance factor.

Either way, Honda is no.1 in my book.

 

There are other Fits out there?

I saw three one week in Ohio when I had to take my father to hosptial, but here in Tennessee, I have seen two (not counting at dealers) since I bought mine in April, and I have not seen one in the last month.

We are up to our ears in Yaris(es) (Yarisi, Yarisen?) however, even some three door ones now (saw two 5 minutes apart) and saw my first Renault (oops, Nissan) Versa on the road other day.

 

My wife met the other Fit owners in town, theirs is a black base, ours is a black sport. My wife jokingly hollered at them that the only spot open in the parking lot was right next to them and that we wanted to be the only ones with a Fit in town. They hollered back 'yeah, well we had ours on the second day it came out'
Wife: 'yeah, well how much over MSRP did you pay?'
them: 'A LOT!
Wife: '$100 over right here baby!'
(all at the top of their lungs)
They were cool. Sounded like true FitFreaks.
