Loud Squealing Noise
My Fit Does Not Even Have 7000 Miles On It Yet, I Have A Loud Squealing Noise At All Speeds. I Thought May Be It Was My Brakes Or Becuase The Car Was Cold, But I Drove 25 Miles To Work And It Did Not Get Any Better. Has Anyone Else Had This Problem?
More info!
Is it when you are moving or all the time?
I would say if it is happening only when you are moving the brake indicator on the pad could have been bent or maybe your brakes are worn out.
If it is all the time it could be a loose belt that is either worn or somehow got some dirt or other debris in it. If this is the case it could be time to pick up a new one and maybe hit your pulleys with some emery paper to get rid of the polish created by a slipping belt.
Could be lots of other things too, these are just off the top of my head.

I think I had this same exact problem about 6 months ago...
Woke up early early one morning and drove up to Bear Mountain to take some photographs. I turned off from the main road onto a gravel road and that's when I started to notice a faint scratch noise. stopped the car checked everything I could find... nothing. I shrug and continue driving up the mountain and OMG a Horrrible hooorrrrible screeching noise coming from one of my wheels. I got so freaked. stopped the car again look... nothing. continue. The screech goes away... for about 10 seconds, then it's as loud as ever. I'm so worried about the car I miss a perfect photo op of a dear on the side of the road lit perfectly by the morning sunrise. damn! I turn around and decide to drive to the closest shop. Once I hit the bridge and get up to about 40 it goes away for good.
Must've been a stupid little pebble picked up from that gravel road.
