torque dampers

well i was reading siphon and noticed DME (design motorsport engineering)

they have their own torque damper
i was wondering if any1 has purchased theirs and if they notice a little difference in engine vibration and such

Engine noise? We just got in the ingalls dampers and they rock. They stop a lot of the movement the engine has. You can feel that its there on startup and driving. Im not sure of which noise your getting that you want silenced.

I havent dealt with DME much. I have Ingalls for years. That company has been around for ages making camber kits for everything. Quality is great and customer service is great.

DME is basically not around. They have a site and all but it hasnt been updated. Everything is "TBA." I tired to buy the header from them and they never got back to me.

Ive seen 1 header from them and a member on here had the prototype coilovers from them. Ive never seen anything else.

Ingalls knows their stuff. Id just get it from them.

i too was thinking about getting there torque damper. but ingalls has such a good reputation with the STIFFY so that is why im leaning towards the stiffy.

Ingalls are nothing but rattle traps if you ask me...took mine off and sent it back. Designed my own using small gas shock from rear hatch of a Dodge......no rattle anytime and does the same job.

Are you serious? A ingalls stiffy and a small gas shock are nowhere close in comparison of design and engineering.........

Actually it was the short fat dampner used on old Omnis. Works for me so Im happy . Atleast I dont have to listen to a rattle that sounds like the bottom end is falling out. Besides its not like Im running a 200hp motor.
