siphone mag??
siphone mag??
any one hear anything about them since the issue where they had the white fit ???? looking but no web site or any new of it... i have all of them so far and dont want to fall behind
well originally i thought they cam out every 2 months but i guess there is not a big enough demand for the mag... and the thing that sucks is you cant subscribe... ill see if i can contact them see if i can get enough of us that they will do it any one in???
I have looked and looked and no Siphon mag could I find
I have even mentioned the mag to the stores that didnt carry it in order to maybe spark some interest...to no avail as of yet though.
I would dig something like a mini mag or mini world equivalent mag for the Fit or any subcompact and micro states side thats not just an import that we get once in a blue moon if we are lucky. Maybe Siphon is it...I dunno though...BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER FREAKIN SEEN ONE!!!
heeheee...
I have no clue what you may or may not intend to do but....ummm...I am here waiting to see one for what little that may be worth.

I found Siphon #5 at a Wal-Mart, for South Florida people it's the one near the 441/Sample rd. intersection in what's either the Coral Springs or Coconut Creek area (it's kind of bordering the two). Good magazine, their coverage of the HKS and J's fits was great, and they've got some other neat articles too. The presentation is kind of weird though, seems like they're trying too hard to appeal to a demographic that doesn't really exist instead of doing straight "car talk". It came off as kind of forced, like a parent of a high schooler trying to be "hip" and embarrassingly failing. Also, what's with all the tC stuff in a magazine about subcompacts?
Barnes and Noble had six copies when I got mine (issue #005). I bought a second (last one they had) and mailed it to Fit of Rage up in BC. I'd be happy to help out any other fitfreakers that can't find one next time around. I agree with dos, it was kind of forced but still enjoyable.
The editor of Siphon had a little blur in the last issue that they are just testing the waters as to response to the mag before they open it up for subscriptions. He asked if you are unable to get Siphon to request it and see if the location would be interested in having it on their shelves. They will not be taking any subscriptions until they decide the direction the publication is taking.

I love this magazine. The only one I don't have is the very first issue. Other than that I can find it at Borders in Jensen Bch FL and at the Super Walmart in Stuart FL. (Borders seems to be where I find it the most though).
I would love to subscribe but I'll wait until it's possible
peace,
