Lexus > Honda

I just bought a New Lexus IS250 under INVOICE PRICE! Many of us got the Fit somewhere between Invoice to MSRP or even over MSRP price! But none under invoice price?? RETURN OUR MONEY!

Dude theres something you dont understand about car buying.
Cheap, small, in high demand cars never go for under MSRP. Exspensive, luxury vehicles always under MSRP. As simple as that.

you bought a HOT car the first year it came out... of course you got minimal to no discount. The IS its first year had no discount for awhile too. it is all supply and demand my friend.

on a side note... one time a IS250 tried racing me... i pulled on it lol.

Good for you. I guess if I was looking for a Lexus IS I'd ask for more info. but I am happy with my Fit.

So you're coming onto a fit forum to report that you bought a posh Toyota for under invoice? Well I'm for anyone getting a good deal on anything but I don't see where the relevance is.

its easy

its easy to get a 40k dollar car under invoice cuz there is so much play with the price and there is incentives for the dealership. say there is a 2 percent incentive the dealership still made 1000 bux of you just for getting the car off the lot tard.

What Tool said didn't negate anything...regardless of him reading it clearly
or not....just so ya know...

maybe on the "Lexus" forums you should spread how much you paid less than many of them...

either way... do squirrels randomly brush up against you vehicle?

Thumbs down

OP your level of understanding of the car industry is not that great. Also you won't achieve anything by creating this thread on a Fit dedicated forum.

There is no way in hell that you could've pulled on an IS250 even though its quite slow. IS250 has a 0-60 time of 7.8 seconds while the 09 fit is near 10 seconds. But i think the most important factor is that the IS250 has torque...

lol, his fit is supercharged, and if you look at his sig pic, it's not an 09 model. but you are correct that the is250 is slow.

The J's racing turbo setup outputs ~135-145whp. Even though the IS250 is heavier, it has about 168whp. With these numbers, its actually a fair race.
