I was looking at the above hood and I dont have any experience with installing aftermarket stuff yet. I was wondering if anyone knew if this hood was compatible to the Fit without other modifications. It was featured in SuperStreet or Import Tuner, but the articles didnt say much about what was required. I would hate to pay 550 for something that didnt match up. Thx guys. Ohh yeah I got the '08 Fit Sport Automatic in Blue.

It should be compatible as they made that for a USDM Fit. Fitment on the other hand is the big question, I don't think anyone has this hood before...

I'm not sure about this brand of hood, but the Seibon hoods are pretty much bolt on. Just had to unscrew the 4 bolts holding on the stock hood and then bolt the Seibon one on with the same hardware.

Hood pins are recommended for a carbon fiber hood but not always necessary.

sorry it wont fit because you have an auto in blue.
if you had an auto in SSM you would be ok

anywho from what I could tell that was a USDM Fit...so...its probably ok.
call/eamil the company and ask if you really dig it...
then report back...
