Make sure you have access to a hair dryer or something similar and be patient.

I have emailed him for all three. If anyone installs these, please give any hints about what part of the headlight to start on. My little episode last weekend has me a tad nervous about it, but I really want them!

You know that I am in. He replied to my email with a question and I haven't heard from him since I sent an answer.

I emailed him last night and haven't heard anything, but I'm not too worried. Sometimes he takes a day or two to answer.

Remember, this is a side job for him, he has a fulltime day job and a family as well.

For sure. I am definitely not worried. Just in a rush to get my car completed before a couple of meets coming up at the end of the month.

I got a call from Andy aka bluebatmobile today. The overlays are done and he said he has a TON of emails and working on responding to them all. If you don't get an answer PM me and I'll call him. He's going to be emailing me the prices for everything he currently has available (not too much).

I went ahead and ordered yellow fogs and 2 styles of taillight overlays, one for the clear section only (not sure how installation on this one will be) and one for the red section only. I'll try to get at least something put on this weekend but it's scheduled to rain and I live in an apartment and don't have a garage.... But I'll post pics as soon as I can!

Andy said that someone (Josie???) was getting hers done today and was unsure how dark to go. From my own experience, the darker overlay looks good though I've never seen the lighter overlay. The taillights are plenty visible when lit.... pics to go along with it.

***These pics are of my '06 civic with the 6/10 (darker) overlay***

I just ordered fog overlays today. I wasn't sure which pics of his were of the lighter tint - I don't want to go dark on the headlights. So if anybody does the lighter shade please post the pics!

The 3/10 is lighter (think 60% tint) and the darker is 6/10 (think 20% tint). IMO, if I were doing headlights I'd do 3/10. I'll see if I can find any pics for you.

These are the darker (6/10) ones. Also available in a lighter 3/10, yellow and ice blue per his website.

Kelmar, would you say that the light tint is about half as dark as the dark tint? Or even less? I really want to do the head/tails but I wasted $44 on some vinyl that was too dark, now I'm hesitant to jump in again. Tint is a funny thing. In the sun, it doesn't look too horribly dark, but the clouds change it completely - so I'm thinking light this time.
Thanks!

To be honest with you, I've never seen the 3/10 in person.

I'll email Andy to find out if he has any pics of headlights with 3/10. Don't get me wrong, I think 6/10 looks great but I know I'd be too worried about light output (especially knowing how FL weather can be).

Are you set on doing the entire headlight? I know with other cars he's done eyelids, cut-outs, sidemarkers, etc.

hmm.. i should just give him a call. he was suppose to give my overlays to someone else to save me the drive, but i guess he forgot.

im getting the lighter overlay for the front because i want to dim my hids a bit. in hopes i wont get pulled over so quick, but then again i could get pulled over for the headlights.

if i dont like it, ill probably just take it off.

sorry for the laggingness

No problem. I think they look pretty darn good! They're getting added to my list of things to get!

Hopefully they are easier to put on then your last ones!

Somehow I doubt it, but atleast I won't go it alone this time. I'll have my husband help so we can both get stressed together .....that's always fun.

Lol! Good call! If he's anything like most guys, I'm sure you are going to LOVE that one, hahaha.

I'll be back to Tampa with the wife by August-ish, so if I figure out any good tricks I'll be sure to let you know.
