Need Help resetting Dash Airbag Light.
Tired of the incessant seatbelt buzzer/light, I looked under the seat to disconnect it. There are three connectors. I disconnected two before getting the middle one which took out that seatbelt alarm. In doing so, the other plug seems to have caused the airbag light to come on continuosly. Even though I reconnected the plug, the airbag light in the dash stays on.
Can anybody on the forum tell me how to reset the airbag dash light or to easily disconnect it?

I did a search (yea!) and I see this has been addressed. I don't want to say much about all of the self-rightous socialists out there but if you didn't have to read through all of their blather, some of these threads needn't be nearly as long. That said!
The best option for me seems to be to reconnect all the plugs under the seat, disconnect the battery for several minutes to reset the gauge light, find an extra one of those plastic "courtesy cards" from your local grocery store or gas station, (an old credit card would do) hold it up to the buckle, and cut it down so that it will fit in place of the buckle.
That way you can take it out when you wish and set it in the tray beside the E-brake, and use it as necessary.
Thanks for everyones help!

Go do a search. Read through a the other valid replies on why not to have that seatbelt fastened. You may find my answer to your impudent question/comment.
If you want to die a horrible death due to not wearing a seatbelt, that's fine, provided that you DON'T have insurance (as you'll just raise other people's premiums), and that you're indepedently wealthy (so that you can pay the several hundred thousand dollars it'll cost to attempt to put you back together again).
Here's a thread from a search for you: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...light=seatbelt
Unless YOU and ONLY YOU are paying the cost of your foolishness, then you should buckle up. It doesn't mess up your clothes, it doesn't hamper your driving, and we won't have to spend money scraping you off the road.
Watch the movie Red Asphalt sometime.
In response: It seems to be too much trouble to get around the electronics. (I don't want to be cutting wires, uselessly). If you reconnect all the plugs under the seat, then disconnect the battery for a while, it resets the gage for the airbag light to go out.
(Based on something in another thread, if the buzzer is out the light becomes primary warning: This indicates to me way too much thought went into this electronics, so let's take another tact.)
Then in order to "temporarily" disable the sounds and visuals of a disconnected seatbelt; I noted in a previous thread on the subject which indicated to just go get another "buckle".
There are no Honda dealers nearby, but my garage is handy.
So I took a metal spatula that had slots in it similar to the buckle (previously used for gasket scraping), and using my grinder and dremel, I fashioned a tool to emulate the buckle. Now that tool sets right beside the E-brake in the cubby. (Note you need the slot to lock the tool into the buckle, otherwise it tries to spit the tool out).
Again, thanks to all those with helpful information!

oops sorry!
thanks anyways...
I didnt know that was a fix...I thought it was just a funky/clever
temporary work around.
I getcha now.
I had a similar prob with my SRS light in my previous auto and
it just baffled the mechanics and honda ppls. So I just left it on, it came on once the seat was unpluged and plugged in again and never went back out.
