Warranty Questions

I know changing some things on your car will void the warranty, but i was wondering if putting on some door visors would void my warranty. I mean i don't think it will but i don't know.

It shouldn't if you have a dealership you go to regularly for service I would check in with them to be sure. Since 1 dealership saying it will can void your warranty I would have a good understanding with them

I think the general rule is "If a modification is deemed to have caused a failure, the repair of that failure shall not be covered under warranty." By those rules, you should be fine since I don't see how visors could break anything.

If Honda finds that what you did to your car may have caused failure then you break warrenty. Visors will not break warrenty.

yea, some people at the dealership will try to tell you that anything you do voids your warranty, but it has to be shown that your modification was the cause of whatever fails on your car, if it ever happens.

Hopefully your door doesn't fall off due to the added weight!

An example would be if the door started to rust where you glued the visor on. Even if it rusted all the way through, the perforation warranty could be denied.
