If i had to 2k for my Fit, i would save a extra 1500$ for the KW Supercharger.

Throw the $500 down on the KW supercharger now, and if you can save up the rest from the time you place the deposit till the time it is shipped you got yourself a sweet little ride. If not I would definitely get the nicest and lightest rims and tires you can get OR the best suspension you can get. Either of these items are something that quite a bit of money should be spent on, because they will effect the way your car looks and performs dramatically either in racing or just daily driving. My recommendations would be either Volk racing wheels (aluminum forged monoblock wheel) and any high dollar coil over supension or Mugen 5 way adjustable suspension (best shocks money can buy).

Doesn't the Mugen suspension require modification to the USDM fit to work?

imo why get real rims? you're paying 2-3 times teh price as the knockoff rota/konig/maxxim/drag rim.

meh...because they look better. for me personally....its more respect. when i see a car...the first thing i look at are the rims.

you can tell if they are fake. knock offs personally do not look the same...and they dont look as good.

The knock of wheels are not bad, but when it comes to the Fit, in my personal opinion every little bit helps, when you are talking about anywhere above a pound of weight difference on each wheel, you are looking at an actual realized performance benefit of dropping about 20lbs off the car. Lighter wheels will improve handling, braking, and acceleration, and engine response. Another benefit you might see is an improvement in the fuel economy. If you were to run a cheaper heavier wheel, you would in turn get a negative response in all those areas.

On another note I noticed you weren't looking at going for performance as much as looks. In this case you should probably get a coil over suspension rather than the Mugen 5 way. The nice thing is that a coil over can be installed now and the height and dampening adjusted later to adjust for changes in the wheel. In my opinion you should always replace the wheels before the springs, as the wheels make the car, and the wheels available for you to choose might be affected by the springs you installed. With coil overs you will not have that issue as ride height is adjustable and can be later matched to your wheels. Just my $0.02.

Striping, wheels, tires, lowering, and seat covers will just about cover your wanting to have a nicer & customized look. And in that order.

If all you're going for is looks, I'd get:

$795 - HondaFitTuner.com Mugen style wide body kit.

$145 - Skunk2 lowering springs

and that leaves you with over $1000 to pick out wheels and tires.

do we really need threads like these floating around? I mean honestly you can take your time and browse around the other forums and see what people have done and get ideas for what you'd like to do. It'll also help to use the handy Search button.
