I highly doubt a bill like this will ever pass. This is definitely not a solution to remove street racing. It will affect too many businesses and people.

What is the real reason fot the law. It sounds like they should look at this as meaning they need an organized raceway to get the comunity involved.

It won’t fly. A bill like that is too vague and will affect more law abiding people that punks that street race and cause mayhem.

What they need is to clearly list things that are not street legal, like a hooked up bottle of NOS.

There have been several high-profile incidents recently of uninvolved people killed by idiots racing on travelled streets.

Yeah, it's a lot like that. Whether it's cars or guns or sex 'n' drugs 'n' rock-and-roll, the government has to doooooooo something and it's a lot easier to screw decent people than catch criminals. Unfortunately the prevailing ethos up here is not "live and let live" but "meddle and let meddle".

There's way a kid with a stock SRT-4 could cause any havoc, right? Only modified cars race.
