Does anyone have a pic with there SSM fit next to a Alabaster Silver Metallic or and other silver car,or can you tell me if there is a big change in color? I used to have a Silver Metallic civic and hated the color. It's pretty much down between VBP and SSM. Any info would be great also does the SSM have a nice wet shine to it?

 

ssm is much darker than the bright silver which i think you're talking about.

 

i have NHBP so dont quote me on anything..
but im gonna say they are different bc honda/acura uses nighthawk for the rdx as well so why would they call a different black the same name..? it got to be the same soo, if they really do use the same color names across brands and models, then it should be different colors.

Alabaster Silver is much like Satin silver that is on many other Honda models.

 

When it's dirty it looks really gray but sometimes when its clean it looks a bit blue. Some variety vs just plain silver.

 

I have the Storm Grey and it is much darker than the other one is. The other one almost looks greyish blue to me. The storm one is kinda what I would call a gun metal grey except for the sparkles in it.

 

my favorite is the VSM. My old civic was this color..

 

I have both. I won't be able to get pictures up for a few days though. But, yes, SSM is significantly darker.

 

When I was getting my SSM the dealer had a civic with a silver that was even darker than my fit. Don't know the shade name. I did like it though.
