New BIG & TALL Owner
Here's my story.
This is going to be a great commuter vehicle. In fact, I plan on washing my truck this weekend and parking it in the garage indefinitely, to be driven only on very rare occasions.
- Bought a '08 Toyota Tundra 2 months ago. Love it.
- Quickly realized it should NOT be my commuter vehicle.
- Bought an '08 Suzuki M109R 2 weeks ago to counter the gas issue.
- Quickly realized I care too much about climate control to ride a bike to work.
- Traded in the M109R for a '08 Copper (that's what I think it looks like, screw the "blaze orange metallic" term) MT Sport Fit.

Keeping this one for good. My house is 30 miles from my job, so I need a good fuel efficient vehicle. I'm done with big purchases for the foreseeable future.
6 airbags > brain bucket.
jk. i'm just not a big fan of motorcycles. my fiance hit one. my brother hit one. they zoom in and out of traffic and the riders have a higher chance of serious injury which isn't fair to people that accidentally hit them. they are the ones that choose to put their lives on the line. why do people that accidentally hit them have to pay for that risk they're taking?
on edit: i don't mean to categorize "they" as in all bike riders. i've seen some that ride very safely.

Gonna miss the bike.

Parted Ways
The Fit and I parted ways yesterday. After driving it for a couple days, I quickly realized the knee angle and more importantly the ankle angle was NOT going to work for me. WAY too much pain.
LUCKILY, the dealer I bought from has a 5 day money back guarantee. So, I traded in for a white Civic LX Sedan, which is MUCH better on my knees and feet/ankle. The gas pedal placement is very different than the fit and the leg room/configuration is night and day between the two.
So, farewell Fiters. Off I go to find a Civic forum. BTW, so far the gas mileage on the Civic looks very good, possibly 35 mpg on my first tank, though it's still too early to tell.
