Info on getting key spares

Feel free to bash the n00b on his first post; but is there definitive info on getting extra keys w/o paying thru wazoo to "reprogram" all keys on a keyless entry system? (and why can't I search for "keys" on this site?).

Love my FIT, and you, by extension....

I think you can just buy a single key from the dealership and have it programmed to your exsisting system. last time i checked it was like $45. it could be more these days.

Can they cut a non-chipped key that will at least open the doors?
