Oh I just thought of something else you might want to check....between
now and when you take it in to get looked at

Since you have the Sport version, you more than likely have the paddles,
so have you noticed these things (odd vibrations) when in that "s" mode or just using the paddles in general?
I am not sure what I am getting at here but its another testing venue to
check out.

keep us updated thanks

...sorry to hear about your tire btw

good luck...

Well that for sure tells you/me/us lol, it's not in the tranny or drive-line. It's most likely the flex plate or converter, but maybe the eng itself.
Good luck.

Let us know what the dealer finds. See if you can get the service manager let you take a picture of the offending item.

We need to know what types of 'vibrations' you're referring to relative to whats normal. Remember the Fit is not a luxury car and is naturally a little rough around the edges in terms of ride quality and road noise.

p.s. - most of the time the Fit will not downshift into 1st gear while moving, if you try it you will hear a terrible noise, which is good in the event that you mistakenly shift from 2nd to 1st while intending to go from 2nd to 3rd under hard acceleration.

With my experiences with the dealer, they may tell you that it's "Normal." From what you describe, the things you are feeling is anything but...

SUGGESTION: If they tell you everything is okay, go take a test drive of a new Fit Auto on the lot. If they do not have one on lot, go to another dealer and test drive another one. I really think that this needs to be addressed by the dealer... Good Luck.

Why did I think this was something dirty?
