What You Think, Painted Dash.

Ok guys, I hated my dash in my Jazz, here in the U.K the dash, radio, clock surrounds, heater vents, steering wheel and ignition shroud are painted a horrible blue/greyish color, so i thought what the hell why not paint it, black and silver i love so i got to it, anyway what do you think, BTW excuse the mess in my car, i've only just finished it so there is some tidying up to do,Oh, and a new steering wheel is on the cards.
Anyway here is some pics,

Looks great. Do you have a before pic for those of us that haven't seen a U.K. stock dash before? Just curious to see how bad it is.

Before pics.

Fitftw, the steering wheel was removed so i could paint the dash correctly, just waiting for my boss kit to arrive so i can get a new steering wheel which will also be black and silver, also hoping to get the seats retrimed later in the year
in black leather, i will also be installing heated seat kits up front.

The E-brake/Hand Brake is a Momo, this one,
Momo Italy Pit Stop aluminium handbrake handle.
It takes some modification to your exsisting handle to fit it, you need to sand down the diameter of your existing one so that the Momo one can slide on, i say slide on but thats not quite right, you still got to force it on, but it dose go on as you can see.

I thought...Hmmm...looks pretty good. Till I saw the original. Wow! It looks much better now! I'm with you on the factory colors. Looks MUCH better in black and silver.

I'd be buying a steering wheel too. Our sport models are silver and black and leather wrapped. Would work with your theme.

The pics are not that good TBH, i've had a good look over it this evening and it has come out really well if i do say so myself, I did have a little guidance TBH, my mate is a spray painter and he gave me loads of advice before i started.
Although i'm really happy with the results i probably wouldn't do it again, there is a load more work involved than i initially thought and trying to put it back together without scratching it was a real pain and and a worry,

But......... It's done now, just need to get rid of those blue seats......YUK.

Looks great, but your steering wheel is on the wrong side. Might want to have that looked at.

Not a fan also it kinda sticks way out and says CD PLAYER HERE STEAL ME!!! ( kinda stupid for me to say because I would hope everyone would know where the cd player was located if they planned on stealing it in the first place )
