Engine timing

First thread.

My sales guy told me the Fit has traditional timing belts but I think I saw somewhere on this forum that it has a no-maintenance timing chain. Which is correct?

Thanks.

When I was test driving, the salesman said, "so when does the VTEC kick in?"

I'll back Chris. It is a timing chain not a belt. Consult 6-12 and 6-15 of service manual.
