I saw a best motoring featuring Ichishima San (spoon ceo) talking about the frame of the car. I was intrigued.

So... 2 years later, I'm in the market for a new car. I needed something spacious (I play drums and gig frequently), practical and fun to drive. Drop by a local Honda dealer to test drive and tadam!

I've been in love ever since.

It FIT the hockey gear - even my goalie stuff!!!
I can hold my gear +1 Skater, or My gear +1 additional goalie with no obstructed view. MPG is always a +, and man is it fun to drive! I love my go-kart.

Same here. 3 people with 3 hockey bags plus sticks without a problem.

The first dealership I went to kept telling me that 'you could fit a surfboard in here!'

Like we do a lot of surfing near Boston.

LOL
The guy I went to kept telling me about bikes, if you put up the bench in the back seat.

I showed a co worker how the front seats recline flush with the back seats, and his response was "There's only one reason a man needs his seats like that. You ain't gunna be (Edited!!!) in your car, are you?" My only response was *shrugs*

Sweet!
Honda apparently is working on a turbo model
WHO? WHAT? WHERE? WHEN????????? I need to know these things!!!!
but I'm not in that market. If want to go fast I have a CRX SiR to do that. 180 hp in a 2000 lb Honda will scare Vettes. Especially in the rain.
you will be when the CRX gives up the ghost!.... I am sooooo just kidding!

If they were "in the know" they would have suggested you could fit a fleet of Commander Quacks!!!! Or as it stands now "Captain Quacks".

surfboard....Boston!....

I wanted one when they were still just a Japan/Euro car. I love small cars. Ever since I started driving I could not comprehend driving a full size car if your the only person in it. Thats why I have my del Sol, and why I bought the Fit.

In 2003 Spoon reviewed the Japan spec FIT I was immediately sold. I then waited 4 more years for it to reach the USA

Because.....
1. Consumer Reports gave Fit top marks on almost all categories
2. "Street Tuner Challenge" (TV show)...Skunk2's Fit
3. Affordable price
4. Magic Seats (good cargo/carry potential)
5. Good MPG
6. Felt fun to drive
7. Liked how da Storm Silver Fit looked (wanted White though)

I liked the fact that you do not see as many Fits as Civic's and with the seats down I can still haul fairly large objects and it is as fun as a go cart to drive.

Me, too.

I was really impressed by the versatility of the Honda Element but couldn't bring myself to drive something so big. In every discussion about the Element, I asked "Why can't they make a hatchback like that?" And they did. I'll take credit for that

Honestly? It was the picture of the Alpaca. I saw that and I knew I had to have that car.

Honda reliability
good gas mileage
lots of room(I'm 6'8" tall)
can carry nearly everything I would need it to carry
not too common around here....although I am seeing more of them

Magic seats for me because i bike ride. I can stuff my bike in that area and not have to use my roof rack to haul it. Cuts down on gas usage, which was the reason i got the car. Oh and another thing. I had a 2000 CivicEX and got rid of it in 06. I went with a different auto maker because at that time Fits were mostly unavailable and i was dying for a wagon/hatch. i have missed that car ever since and have been dying to get back into a small Honda so as soon as i was able, i snapped myself a Fit.

because my fiance loved the look of it.

meaning that she wouldnt mind me modding it to look better.

this is the first car that ive owned that she wants me to keep. i usually let cars go after 6-8 months. she encourages me to make it go faster and look better.

thats what sold me on the fit. if she likes it, ill be a happy modder.
