FitSpeak - Say Hello To Other Fits

I couldn't come up with a better title, but we should establish a way to say hello to other Fit's while we're driving on the road.

Yesterday, at approximately 1:45pm, I was waiting to make a left hand turn at a stop light. There are no cars around. In the distance a Milano Red Fit appears on the on-coming side of the road, and as he is about to pass me flashes his highbeams. I flash back to say "hello." As he passes by, the driver and I look at each other and smile. Haha, it was a fun, non-homoerotic moment.

Anybody else want to partake in FitSpeak? Open to suggestions. I was thinking:

Day Time:
1 Half-Second Flash to On-Coming Fitters
1 Split-Second Flash if you're behind a Fitter

Night:
Hazard Blinks to On-Coming Fitters (if you see them of course)

Don't Highbeam cars in front of you at night. You'll get shot.

Does this sound cool, or do I just love our cars too much!!

it should be something more creative. example: motorcycles do 1 finger meaning safe ride to their destination and 2 fingers return home safely

I wave frantically but i always get the deer in the headlight look back. I guess its cause im the only modded fit in the area and everyone else is typically old. My wife doesnt even wave at me when i pass her. She just looks and shakes her head

I simply do nothing because I have yet to see another fit that was modded so no need for me to wave at a guy that is just driving his family car.

I think I have seen a tw fit with type r badges but that was it.

my brother claims to have seen a orange one with rims but I haven't seen that yet.

I am a fit loner where i am at.

Hey! I resemble that remark... I guess I could be considered one of the old guys (43)...

There are some guys here that honk, wave, or both. But we do have those that we do our best to establish contact with but it's blank stare or nothing at all. I guess to them it's just a car.

Flashing lights and honking horns usually ticks people off. I'd say we do something like a peace sign, thumbs up, or combination of the two ;-P!

I guess there are more Fit owners here in Cali than in other states. There are a lot, but you don't get sick of seeing them like you would Civics. If I see you I'll either try to beam you or be like James and wave frantically, haha.

James, if you come back to your parked car and your rear wiper is up, it was me
