We all drive a "girls" car
In the US I would hazard to guess that most cars are "chick" cars. There are simply more women in the world and a lot of guys drive trucks. Many men buy cars as toys (muscle/sports cars) or status symbols (luxury sedans). So if your car is practical/economical then chances are the male owners will be outnumbered by the female owners.

LOL, If your car has a mirror on the driver side visor then its a "girls" car. If they mean that girls like this car a lot, then sure its a girls car. Ive seen easily less than 10 girls driving fits around 909/626/714 area since they came out. Usually theyre in the passenger saet with some guy driving!
I bought our 07 Fit for my wife to drive. She really wanted a Vespa, but with two kids and three dogs the Fit made a lot more sense. The ones I see on the road seem to be split pretty even between men and woman drivers. I don't know what makes a car a man's or a woman's car.
In our neighborhood most of the moms are driving Ford Excursions, Chevy Suburbans, and a few Hummers. Usually they are talking on the phone while driving at least ten to fifteen miles per hour above the speed limit. They probably have a false sense of security driving in those gas guzzling SUVs. What they really need for safety is a Russian surplus Tank.

Honda Fit isn't a "girls" car they are just under our mom's name or gf/wife's name lol. Because if its under a guy's name insurance go sky rocket. In SoCal, I see mostly guys driving it. A couple old ladies doesn't count. I drive around 562 and 310 mostly.
go black roof!
yah, but those are mostly AT's. the guy's G35C are the 04 MT Premiums
with Brembo's.

btw, most G37 coupe leasees are girls.
As a girl, I know a lot of girls like my car and think it's adorable, lol. Then, I've seen a decent amount of guys driving the Fit, too. Actually, I think it's more of a 50/50 split around here. I see a lot of young people driving the car, and a fair share of older people, but I don't think it's really as biased one way or the other. The Fit's a great city car, and I think both guys and girls of all ages around here realize that.
Oh, and a lot of guys drive TCs around here, too, so I never really thought of it as a "chick car," hahaha. Though, around this area, you see pretty much every type of car driven by pretty much every type of person because of the dense population.

i have plans for mine though, a TT kit's going to be released soon and im going to be all over that mofo!
and this cars a keeper, i financed her
What constitutes a "girls car"....just cause it's small? I see more females out in Cali driving SUV's then FIT's.
I say Fack em' all....lol.
I love my FIT
tonyd
How can you call that black roof MINI a "girl's car"?????
White roof keeps me cool in the hot summer sun.
In my area half the G35 coupe owners at autocross are female.
Wonder why?????
Part1: like the white roof's of a school bus.
Part2: because girls are usually smarter than older men and know better.
when i first bought my car, i brought it over to my buddies house and his sister says "oh, it doesnt look as girly in person as it does on tv."
ha. i didnt really know how to take that, but they said it was a nice car, and were impressed by the versatility. ive thrown tons of things in my car that wouldnt have fit in a sedan. ive thrown my schwinn cruiser bike, three surfboards and three people (one surfboard on my rack on top), four of my sisters friends plus beach baggage, and ive changed in my car with the back seats folded up a few times.
i do have to admit, i can see how some people can see its a girly car. i used to drive a wrx and people would label that car a "guy's car", because i think about 80% of wrx drivers are guys. ill always love my wrx, but i save about 40 bucks a week on gas alone from the switch...thats 160 bucks a month.
as far as who i see driving the FIT, mostly elderly ladies, college age guys/girls, and a handful of middle aged guys. oh yea, and i think ive seen a good chunk of moms driving FITs. i let my little sister practice driving on my FIT, and she likes to drive it. im hoping my parents buy it off me and give it to her eventually so i can go and buy myself a subaru turbo diesel.
