Out of the three JDM LED Taillights (Smoked, Not Smoked, or the ones that are all clear) which ones are on your car.
I am going to get a pair and am trying to decide, but it seems like everyone has the smoked ones. Because of that I am leaning towards not smoked.

Just want to get an idea of how many of each type are out there on the fits.

I have smoked have since the day after I got the car in 06. I have SSM so the smoked looks good. not a big fan of the all clear( reminds me of all those cheesy apc tails) but get what you like, its your car

 

the all clear ones are "illegal" as there is no red reflector in them..
some all clear DO have the little strip of red though, just depends on the maker

i think the smoked ones look best, bc there really isnt much chrome on the car to compliment the chrome in the light..

i have the smoked, n1s, for now,
getting new ones soon, so i might get these

All the JDM ones are illegal lol. My OEM all clear lights do have the red strip at the bottom.

 

how are all JDM ones illegal? Or is that just in some states?

 

Dunno, my Depo's are DOT stamped.

 

its because the REAL tail lights dont have any visable light output on the side so you cant see them when your next to or in the blind of the car. depos are modified to be visable im pretty sure.
