Where is the lift?

OK, so last night I lined up with a black Fit with a round exhaust (GReddy
or Tanabe probably.), nice JDM rims and lowered, it's playing some crappy non-gangstah hip-hop. I have my tC with a GReddy SP2 exhaust, EManage Ultimate, Hotchkis sway bars and Tein H-techs (are intakes mods too?) With A/C off, windows up and radio off too. Anyway, I revved it to try if it has some meat...

Light turned green, he peeled a bit and I had to let go of the gas a bit or I would leave him behind, so I let him go a bit first, once I hit 2nd I floored it, for some reason he doesn't have a lift sound like the the Civic Si? Anyway, I left him at 3rd gear at 6K RPM asking why there's no lift. (It's slower than an xA!)

Does it have valve lift like the Civics, Integra, S2000 and NSX? Or do I need to do a K20 swap? Is it possible to be tuned to have noticeable lift? Thanks.

I like the new 09 Fit, but I don't want to be left by a turbo xA or xB while I'm driving it... So please tell me the new one has lift!

Lift? What do you mean by that? 109bhp isn't gonna lift anything :-P
Did you seriously think that the 109+bhp Fit even stood a chance against your 161+bhp tC?

Also, street racing FTMFL. +1 for lockdown.

You cant come in here talking about street racing with that few mods, first off. And second, we do no condone any illegal forms of racing. You are posting on a site where we get excited when our car reaches a hundred to the wheels. Another for the lock.
