any idea if the 09 rear headrests will fit the 1st gens? I like that all three in the rear are low profile, just like the one in the middle we have now.

 

No they don't. I was trying to find the pics my friend took some months back comparing the two before the car was released in Japan, but no luck. Posts are spaced differently.

 

I know what you mean it kinda hinders your visions when looking back.

I love the current rear headrests.

 

yeah, they're not so bad, but when I saw the 09's, i was like "hmmmmmm.."

i'll have to check some other cars with low profile headrests that match ours...

 

why cant we cut the rods and weld them in the right position would that work??

 

I absolutly hate the current rear headrests, they are big fat and ugly. Plus they seriosuly block your view. They have not been on my car since day 1.
2009 Fits head rests look 100x more logical.

I took my headrests off shortly after the first few days, and they rest comfortably under the "magic seats" until someone has to get in back.

I suppose we could make custom ones somehow if we measured the holes right. I want the left one to say "FIT" and the right one to say "FREAK" on them.

 

Mine say Psycho and Killer. Anyone that can tell me why gets a cookie.

I agree, the rear headrests suck. I took mine out as well; they affect visibility and interfere with the magic of the fold down seats. I used to carry them around in case I had passengers, but now I have removed them from the car completly.

I hated them as well. I left the dealer parking lot and pulled into a gas station and took them on. I guess great minds think a like.
