You can't? First dyno is 166.37whp and 166.01 torque. Second one is 165.08whp and 168.37 torque.

 

Not bad. What supporting mods are you running at the moment? If for some reason I didn't go Kswap and wanted to go with a kit that has everything T1R looks like the way to go. Do you know what the a/f's were at by chance?

 

Btw, while I'm not suprised to see alot of tq squeezed out with the smaller turbo, I was really not expecting to see that much pulled out of the 1.5. That's all motor (with work) kseries tq numbers, and bseries(with work) hp numbers. I'd really like to see the car in action. I can imagine it is fairly quick, especially w/ a little weight removed!

 

Just a Tanabe touring axle back. Everything else is just the bolt on kit. I don't have an exact reading of the A/F readings because I just looked at the meter hooked up. It was running lean before, but now it's a little rich because I'm waiting for that boost controller for 8psi set-up.

Oh yes, the torque on this little car is amazing compared to the other Honda engines. A little weight reduction would help so much, I can feel the car being heavy sometimes. But then again, its still quite light.

 

Gotchya. Keep up the good work, and let me know how 2 more psi does! It's ashame the crappy design of the head on these cars, if I go kswap I'll play around with the head and see what we can get out of them just for the L15 lovers sake. From what I've heard though I can see us burning a hole right thru the head =/

thanks man, this is exactly what i've been looking for. a real person,with a real car, made with real money. ive been asking around so i could find what turbo kits and superchargers give what kinds of torque and at what RPM. that's the whole reason i asked for dyno sheets! also what kind of gains can be expected after going with forced induction. that is a nice kit!

 

Um, is that all? No one else posting...I know Kraftwerks has a car running over 190whp, but it's all expensive work done to it.

Bleh. After coming from my N/A 154WHP 1998 SE-R (Hotshot CAI, Hotshot header, 2.5 cat-back exhaust, Jim Wolf Tech s4 cams, Unorthodox racing underdrive pulleys) it's hard for me to imagine going that route again in the Fit to put down maybe 120 WHP on the dyno.. the 95WHP in my stock Fit is enough

 

I wonder when aftermarket cams are going to come out for the Fit?

hehe, it isn't enough until your passenger can't reach for the 20$ bill on the dash anymore.... then it is enough

cams? for cams to work properly you have to open up the head. which as we all know ,or should know, can't be done on the L15a1 motor. so cams would be a waste. grranted you could get a little more power, but for all that work to take off the head, just to put on some chopsticks and not improve CC or airflow.... its a waste IMO.
