gas is $1.38 per litre in bc average, so multiply by 4 (approx) and then 3.60 a gallon does not look so bad does it.

Unhappy Saw this coming

I don't see why everybody is getting all bent outa shape over gas prices. Yeah, they're incredibly high... but shouldn't we have expected it??? WHY in the HELL am i still seein all these brand new Escalades and Silverados around town??? It's funny because all my friends at school that winced at the idea of me trading in my Porsche for a Fit suddenly get it. I know gas prices suck, but i suggest some people need to wise up and be prepared for $5-$6 per gallon. It's not far away.

Paid $4.30 for 87 gas at Mobil in La Habra - everywhere else around is $4.37 at least - that was yesterday, who knows what it is today.

Yeah I saw it too, but rape by any other name is still rape. When oil rises, the pump price goes up within hours. When it falls it "takes 3 to 6 weeks to be reflected at the pump". Bull$hit!!

Listen here, children! (In the voice of "Chef" on South Park)-------
Here is the pain of age:

With my first car, ('50 Chevy Coupe, painted Battle Ship Grey by Earl Scheib of Rosemead, CA, for $19.95, black rims w/Baby Moons, black tuck 'n roll interior, 3 speed floor shift, dual 1-bbl. carbs whoopee)
gas was 25 cents per gallon, and I still had to hold up my passengers for gas money on cruises to Huntington Beach.

Boy, does my Fit look good!

I already voted last week, but then it was 4.17, today was 4.29. I heard on the news today them guessing that with the $16 jump in oil the past 2 days, we are surely looking at another 20-30 cents by July 4.
