Ready to buy a Fit... have questions
I had some "will work on any floor" mats for a few weeks. The Fit floor pan is pretty unique so they did not "fit" very well.
Besides, I really like the all weather mats for the rear - they reach up under the bottom of the front seats...

Haggle room is slim to none right now, especially for a manual. Since you're getting an automatic you might have a little more wiggle room. I was picky on color and would not take an automatic, so my bargaining power was slim to none. And that's fine, I was willing to pay MSRP. I did get mine for 15,805 - $100 off msrp. After tax and fees, it was right at $17,000 out the door.
To give you an idea of demand right now, mine is sold and is probably still on the boat.

No point. The deal isn't legally done until I've had it off the lot for 48 hours. I've done the shopping, the driving and now the deal. It was the car I wanted, in the color I wanted. It's mine dammit!! I think it'll make picking up the car that much more fun... It's like Christmas shopping for yourself.
First off, welcome aboard!
I paid 15,400 for my 5MT Sport Fit. The MSRP was 15,900. I was willing to pay full MSRP as well but, as you are looking at, haggled a little. Typically if you even just ask them "Is that the best you can do?" they'll lower the price some (hey, can't complain about saving some money)! Also, don't be afraid to check other dealerships and don't be afraid to walk away from a deal you aren't comfortable with!
By far, the most IMPORTANT thing is that YOU are happy with the car and with the price.
Good luck!
