Any Funny Fit Stories?

Well, this one really could'nt qualify as anyone making fun of my fit because we had a great laugh. I stopped at a light beside an audi r8 and i said to the driver, 'wanna trade", and he replied "well first you'd have to recycle that (honda)" and he had a good laugh, before the light turned green and he pelled away

haha...

I parked next to a Z06 there other day at Taco Mac because I have my "Corvettes are for Senior Citizens" decal on the front. (an homage to Car and Driver finding the Fit being faster through the cones than a Z06), and we ended up coming out at the same time. He obviously saw the decal and said, "well Fits are for broke ricers"

Touche, old man, Touche.

I have no funny stories :-( sadness

I just have people ask occasionally what it is.

Well, I was hanging with a friend and we were heading to the local Italian Festival. A Suburban was next to us at the light and my friend noticed it scooting up some and the driver leaning our ways a bit. Well, it became apparent why: he was trying to look down my friend's shirt. That's the only problem with having such a short car. Oh well.

Yeah.two
1. last winter we visited the Grandfathjer Mountain area during a light snow. Getting there a BMW passed us and the passenger thumbed his nose at us. Short time later came upon him stuffed in the ditch. Drove by returning the thumbing then turned around to help. The BMW was truly stuck with the frame on the ground so we couldn't really help. Did ofter ride to next service station but they declined on behalf of 'protecting their valuables'. On the return that area had considerable marks of a lot of difficult work been done. Thunb your nose at my Fit and 'Icebears' at your peril.
2. On the way to western NC on I40 we stopped at a gas station beside a huge SUV already gassing up. While filling up the SUV driver commented 'guess them little things have to fill up too" About then we finished filling at about 8 gallons and he got a funny look. After paying our bill and leaving we noticed he was still filling his tank. Never caught up with us either.
I could swear his face was sweating and very red the last time I looked.

3. OK let's add a third: read the latest issue of Automotive News. You'll laugh and cry at the same time.

I hold one of the hillclimb records there. Probably into infinity now. Like Chimney Rock though you will never test your willpower without climbing those 'hills'.
Its a pity Biltmore doesn't hold a climb to the castle.

i was driving to work one day and stopped at a red light. a guy pulled up in an old chevy and tried to get my attention.

"what kind of engine you got in there?"

"1.5 litre vtec"

"daaaayyymmnnn. really nice"

before i could tell him it was tuned for fuel economy and not power, the light had already turned green and he was off.

Very bad ass. I just like the idea of someone looking at my Fit and thinking I bought it instead of a Corvette. If at least one person believes that, its Golden.
