Taking my Fit camping this weekend

Gonna take my new baby out to God's Country this weekend. Has anyone here taken a Fit out into the woods, and if so, have you any tips for preventative measures such as the nose mask available, or anything else? As much as I love nature, it tends to reek havoc on man-made things such as cars!

I bought a nose mask for my fit, but it really is a pain in the butt to get on and off. I've left just the hood portion of it on, because that part is easy to take on and off. Is that nose mask at all worth the hassle?

At the very least, gonna be giving it a good wash next week.

Put a coat of wax on the front end. You don't have to buff it off if you don't want to. Coating with oil can be messy.
