New To The Forums And The Accident Club WOOHOO!!!

Greetings fellow Fit owners! I just joined the forums, but have been lurking for a few weeks now. I just purchased an 08' Sport 5MT in BOM one week ago today. I added the all weather floor mats, windshield sunshade , security system, GAP insurance, and extended warranty through Honda Care. The wife and I got a steal on it and paid MSRP plus tax & lic. OTD thanks to the Costco Member buyers program. I love the car so far. It's one of the neatest rides I've owned. I just can't seem to stop driving it around everywhere. The clutch is so easy to use, I can just slap it into gear using my fingertips!

Sadly, I am also a new member of the accident club. While driving my wife to work yesterday morning, we were rear-ended by a Toyota Echo while stopped at a red light. Apprently, the guy just lost track of what he was doing and hit the gas. Luckily there wasn't much damage. The lower left side of the bumper has a couple of paint chips and a small dent, but the bumper stayed on nice and solid and everything is tight and intact. I'm heading into the body shop tomorrow for an estimate.

Not the way I imagined I'd be making my first post, but I'm happy to be here just the same

HAPPY DRIVING!!!

DAN

Maybe the Echo was jealous and trying to take it out on you!

I'm not surprised that the damage was so light, after all, BOM is the toughest color!

Serious as a heart attack! Orange is the best color for just about everything.

Now you have an excuse to get aftermarket parts without wife giving you dirty looks.

Take Care! And welcome to the Forums!
