how many miles on your fit...

i honestly can't remember how many miles were on her...
we got her in mid august of 2007, i think with less than ten miles.
now, about 10 1/2 months later, we have 26500k on the clock and still going. I don't think i'll break 30k in a year, but we'll get damn close.

not the Fit.....but my other car --- last summer roadtrip

My 97 del Sol (which used to be high mileage but now is relatively low for an 11 year old car)
The trip matching was a complete coincidence...too bad the tenths didn't line up.
I will be seeing that 66,666 on my Fit probably early next week.

you have me beat, thats for sure, but very few have come close.
like you posted, its not how many miles you have on your fit, but how many you have gotten in such a short amount of time. In a year and a couple months, i'll probably have 30-35k, a far cry from what you have!

i dont think i have any one beat but ive put some miles on this car.
i bought it brand spanking new jan. 9th 2008 with 4 miles on it...
today (6/28/08) ive got 45xxxk miles. it takes me to and from work as well as a 20 mile canyon run 7 days a week. been on six road trips and hauled numerous drunks around down town austin texas.
as much as i love to drive it i am trying to buy my first motorcycle sometime before the end of summer so i can stop putting so many miles on it.

ive actually cut down on driving, when i had my accord i was driving a minimum of 10k every month. it still ran strong until the day i had a head on collision at 65 mph.

Mine had 12 miles on it.
I've never heard of or seen a new car with 1 or 0.1 miles on the odometer and I've bought 5 new cars before. The lowest was 7 miles. It hardly seems possible between them driving it out of the factory, on to the truck, on to the ship, off of the ship, onto another truck, around the dealers lot.
What did they do, pluck it off the assembly like with a helicopter and drop it in your driveway?

Zero is pretty much impossible due to the factors you listed. Then there's the factor of the dealer performing the pre-delivery inspection and gas fillup which is off the lot.
We also perform a bunch of swaps (at customer request) which packs on miles. The average swapped car has about 100-200 miles on it upon delivery.

- you bought it right off the truck
- there's a gas station next door to the dealer (to fill car for delivery)
- you had a one in a million car that didn't need any distance traveled from the factory to the boat and to the boat to the docking of vehicles and to the truck.
- the dealer lot itself if really small
- a technician didn't inspect your vehicle (even though it's required)

Approximately 300 miles on the car when picked up the dealer had driven from Rochester, NY to Elmira, NY. Today and 18 months of ownership approximately 30k. Actually down would usually have 36k by now but must be driving less.

Red one had 12 miles on it. Bought it in Muncy, PA and immediately drove it home so it had about 300 miles by the end of the first day. Little over 20k now.
Black one had 48 miles on it and bought it locally. Just over 10k on that one.

22 miles when I picked it up.
I drove 5 different cars on the same 11 mile test loop. One of those cars was the one I bought later that week.
I just assumed that someone else tested that car on the same 11-mile loop (varied but not too much traffic or difficult navigation.)
