It kinda makes me feel good to know I'm driving a 'chicks car'. At least women will think I'm cool

hahah this girl in the parking lot on base parked next to my Fit (and I park away from people too, and next to curbs lol) and she got out of her Mustang as I walked towards my car and told me it was a 'cute little thing', she asked me how I felt about that. I said 'I knew what I was getting myself into' and gave a little chuckle. Then she smiled and said she's gonna look into trading in her 06 mustang for one. I said GO FOR IT and that was that. I want more conversations with women about my car!! Maybe I'll hit a jackpot if I gain some more confidence ;x

Also sometimes dudes will fly past me just to see who's driving (maybe a hot chick?). THAT shit makes me feel awkward as all hell

i used to drive a MINI Cooper and people told me that it was the number one girls car, but i think its an all around everybody car, i've seen ALL different types of people drive it, from older grandpa and grandma's who couldn't afford the thing when they were younger, to gen x and y kids like myself who think its the most retro thing around.

I was passing a blue Fit on the way to work this morning and thought "well 80% of Fit drivers are female", so as I was passing, I looked over and the driver was probably the creepiest looking character I have ever seen. He had removed all the headrests and I wouldn't be surprised if he had used the Magic Seats in "Concealed dead body" mode.

"How do you feels about forty miles per gallon, beyotch?!?"

I see women driving Fits too, 'older' women (as in, old enough for me to be interested in them without looking like a dirty old man, muahahahaha) more than young girls. But most of the people who ask about my car are men. I don't know what kind of envy that is, but it sure is strange.

I'd say I've seen 50/50. But the distribution seems split on color choices.
Black Storm Silver and VBP is mostly men.
Red is split evenly, but red is so rare around here that I only see two regularly.
BOM is mostly women
Lunar Mist > men
Tidewater Blue > women
I've only seen ONE Taffeta White in person, and ONE Blackberry Pearl in person, both parked, and no way to tell from accessories what the owner's sex was.

The age range is pretty wide, but several I see are driven by old hippies. Just like several Scions I see. They can't relax that 'counterculture' thing.
LOL!

Having a driver's side vanity mirror and no passenger side vanity mirror is pretty indicative of who the intended market for the Fit is.

Although perhaps more females OWN fits, I still get asked by males about it. Most of the time it's at gas stations, they see me put like $20 worth in my tank as they're filling their SUV's and the meter is well past $60 - they usually ask what my MPG is and how much the car costs.

I wanna get asked about my car at the pump! Unfortunately, the stupid car fills up to fast and it's awhile before I have to put gas in it again
