It has nothing to do with your exhaust. Start the car, sit in the seat and see what happens. It illuminates when something light is in the seat, even resting your hand in the seat will cause the light to turn on.

I believe weight over 15 lbs they turn off the airbag.. i think.. I, myself, wasn't paying attention.

oh god! i bet if you take it back to the dealer they will know you installed that aftermarket exhaust and try to void your warrenty! i think the light comes on when you put mods on your car....they screwed a buddy on mine like that.

My passenger seat light goes on at the start then goes off like in 15 seconds even if nothing is in seat. Is this wrong?

your toolbox would totally make the light come on.

i put my messenger bag (books, ipod, etc. that i take to work with me everyday) in the passenger seat when i drive to and from work. the light doesn't come on... but if i rest my hand on the passenger seat with the combined weight of the bag, it will make the light come on. i take my hand off, and the light goes off.
