Newb Here With Some Questions
Helo everyone,
I just picked up a 2007 Honda Fit Sport 5MT
I have a couple questions:
1. I'm looking to lower it, don't need huge performance, so probably just some springs. What brands do you recommend? Tein or other?
2. Intake and exhaust: I'm looking for a little extra power boost, but to stay as quiet as possible.
Also keep in mind i want to keep my 35mpg
Any help would be appreciated.
Here's my Fit:

And here are my other current vehicles:

First, if you have to lower, do it less than 1.5". But the best things you can do are replace 15" wheels/tires with 17" on wheels with 45 mm offset. Oh and disconnect the antisway bar. Replace the rear shocks with Monroe MA-811 AirLifts ( see suspension section for lots of good photos)
And forget playing with the valve lifts and duration.More power yes but fewer mpg too

Your Tundra is HOT!
1-Just springs will do. I have Progress springs and love them. I also have the progress rear sway bar, those coupled together and your car will handle on rails.
2-I would recommend Mishimoto Intake, and Megan Axle back exhaust. It will be a power increase(about 9whp), and megan axle back offers a ice deep low key tone. Not ricey at all.

Im also considering an intake with no exhaust .. i really don't want any sound increase much louder than stock at all.
anyone doing anything to increase mpg's besides staying away from the heavy foot?
I've come from fast STI's, EVO's & Street bikes .. my truck is alot faster than the fit as well .. so im not looking to pour a bunch of $$ into making it semi-fast .. just a little something extra .. i think the intake would take care of that
