Has anyone notice that the 2009 USDM Honda Fit looks a bit like mercedes 08 B-Class benz ??? Am i the only one that thinks these two cars are alike in the exterior or does anyone agree ??
The tail lights look a bit like versa but i think 09 fit is way more stylish.. for the price range of the fit, i think the 09 fit looks decent and is a decent choice imo, if you're in the market for a new car and wants something affordable and saves gas, which iam... just have to wait for it to come out to see the real thing... in the process of deciding to buy new 09 or used 07 fit.

Personally, I like the '08 better than the '09 in appearence.
Also, I don't like the fact that they eliminated the spare tire.
On Honda appearences;
Honda has always had the nack of borrowing certain design elements from other manufactures but yet keeping it their own. And somehow making their designs stand the test of time without looking "dated" in a few years. The 90's Civics I still see on the road still look like they belong.
My '93 Civic's back end, I always thought, was taken from a 300 series BMW. I've noticed other BMW similarities in other Honda models throughout the years as well.
Anyone else agree?

Yep. When I first saw the new Fit design I immediately thought of the MB A and B class. The single-plane hood and windshield, the curvature of the roofline, side window shapes, and clean, understated design is apparent in both cars. While the Matrix is basically the same shape (5-door hatch), it has much smaller and fewer windows, more curves/bulges, and general busyness going on that neither the M/B or Fit do.
