So I am going to purchase one of these in the near future. I have been doing some research on them and people are claiming gains of 18HP with this intake. Is that legit? To me I think if your lucky at best you will get 10HP with an intake. Does anyone know if this is true? Also just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions for a CAI for my car. One that would possibly be better than the v2. Thanks in advance!

 

18 hp gain from ANY intake system (excluding boost) is IMPOSSIBLE on this class of car. In the ads, you probably skipped over the words "UP TO" in the gains description. Maybe a large V-8 or V-10 pick-up with a very restrictive stock intake could make 18 hp with an AEM CAI, but on a Fit that claim is total b.s.

 

Not out of a Fit! Try more like 4-6 for the very best

 

4-6 with a $300 intake. lol, just make one at autozone for ~$50

unfortunately we cant really hear out vtec.

on most of the cars, when you crack vtec...that thing SCREAMS!

i loved the power that it gave my accord and my integra.
