Angry Surging Accord

Soory Ya'll, thought I was on a different site, And I'm throwing a fit over something else. I bought an 87 Honda Accord cheap cause it had this surging problem. I replaced both fuel filters, found a bunch of garbage in the one close to the tank, but this is not the problem. The car starts and runs like a top, for about five or ten minutes, then starts surging, even at different speeds or RPM's. Someone mentioned a pick-up tube in the fuel tank being clogged? Anyone got any sugestions. The car is carburated 2.0.
Thanks
