so i was waiting at a stop light chilling for the green light and this blonde didnt see that the light was red and rammed into my bumper. Hopefully i get more money than i need but i dono if i should send this to a honda dealership repair or a local collision center. what would you guys advise doing? p.s i got this car brand new and only 2 weeks old -_-

well i would bring it to a few places.... incuding honda, since your not paying for it it can cost what ever... but that looks pretty bad... sorry to see your new car hurt... good luck and hope you get it fixed in a hurry!

 

get a qoute from the dealer for your insurance, take it to a collision center and get it done cheaper. not sure how it all works, but the dealer will be the highest qoute you can get...

 

when you get into an accident the best thing to do is not touch
the damage and have your insurance agent take over the transation.

how you repair the car is up to you (dealer/bodyshop/yourself). but
you want to get estimate for full reimbursement before you do any repairs.

 

take it to your honda dealer.

DO NOT LET THEM REPLACE THE PARTS WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN OEM! they will try to con you into thinking it'll be ok with reproduction parts

 

Leave the car as it is. Go file the claim, collect your money and buy Kelsey's bumper and bar.
Youll have plenty left over. Done deal.

buy it from kelsodeez hes a good guy, met him in person. keeps his stuff in mint condition. i vouch for him.

 

only 2 weeks old make her pay. And yes only get OEM don't let the insurance company give you re-manufactured parts.

 

when i bought my fit, the dealer gave me like some kind of deal where I get some sort of $$$ if i get rear-ended.. did you get that kind of deal? I believe the amount was $3k-5k.. i have to check my paper work.

 

go for the best body shop around.

Had something of a similiar sort, students(im guessing drunk) punched or kicked about $1000 worth of dents into my Jazz, went to the dealership and they suggested a repair shop to sort it, had to have a body panel replaced. My opinion go to the dealership first and avoid all blondes on the road like the plague in the future.

 

And some were wondering where all blonde jokes were coming from!

Ray is 100% right! Get your insurance to cut you a check if you can by all means, then buy Kelso's bumper and support beam. Don't let Kelso's tattoos scare you. He is genuinely nice guy.
His bumper is black like your's after all, so you can bolt it right up in Kelso's driveway! Drink the balance (or buy some mods)!
Doing this you won't part from your car for days and be stuck with a Focus rental!
