the accident was 100% the other driver's fault so no need to try to save money getting it repaired yourself or at a cheaper shop. just let her insurance pay up for the repairs. my suggestion is this. go to the dealer's recommended collision repair center, and get it repaired with high-cost, OEM parts.

dam man sorry to hear though.

yeah mine has gotten beat up too...

buy it from kelsodeez hes a good guy, met him in person. keeps his stuff in mint condition. i vouch for him.
got an estimate at honda world about an hour ago. total estimate + labor is 1329.82$$ dayum lol. I dont think the insurance will give me a check and let me decide how to fix it because if they gave me a check for that much estimate, lol i would buy kel's bumper and bar and go nuts with the rest, i think they deal directly with the dealership or repair shop. Ive been told i dont get extra money in my hand unless i am injured.

Really sorry especially when your Fit is only 2 weeks old. Sadly I was rear ended the other day too. Of course it was big heavy Pontiac Grand Prix that slammed into me. My teeth rattled from the impact!..so I get out and to my amazement the only visual damage was a small dent and a crease in the bumber cover. I take it to a body shop tomorrow to see what lurks underneath. Anyway, I chose my body shop purely from a list that my insurer gave to me (Liberty Mutual) because it just simplified the process. If there is more damage than the aprasier recorded, the bodyshop can go ahead and do the repair without another appraisal and the bodyshop arranges my rental car for me. So basically, I chose a body shop based on conveinience and the mentality that if the shop is offically recognized as a "premier" shop then the chances are better that they will do good work......oh ya, in MA, if you are rear ended it is automatically the person's fault who rear ended you. So I don't have to pay for anything.

I don't think it's just blondes...for that matter California Freeways...especially LA are terrible. Drivers all the time do not pay attention....my friend has been rear ended 5 times....Californians drive extremely fast with no regard for human life.
Honestly sometimes I feel like I am in a Nascar game driving around LA and other CA spots...hate it.
