OEM tires

My dealer gave me the little packet on the warranty of my "bridgestone" tires but I come to realize that they are in fact dunlops. Any idea what this is about?

thats really weird. i've never heard of such a thing. maybe go back to the dealership and correct them because they might have made a mistake.

The only issue is that the car came from another dealership in Philly and was part of a trade to my dealership in Newton NJ. I am going to call my dealership in the morning. The tires look nice though. lol

Maybe they are Bridgestones in JDM or EDM or something and they forgot to translate that over to USDM. Only thing I can think of. Or they just screwed up lol

This would make sense if they were part of the Bridgestone Firestone company, but they are part of Goodyear. I would definately ask them for the proper documentation and warranty book.

When I picked mine up, the same thing almost happened. The salesman didn't know which tires were on the car and tried to give me the bridgestone booklet until i told him the tires were dunlop, so he gave me that booklet instead. He had both in his hands at the time, so I'm sure this will be an easy fix.

hmm, i dunno about your particular salesperson but i've come across SEVERAL who do not know what the heck they are talking about when i ask them questions. they just make up complete BS instead of admitting that they are not sure or have no idea. take everything from the dealership with a grain of salt!

I just picked my Fit up 2 weeks ago from a NJ dealer. And i as well got an info packet saying Firestone. But my tires are Dunlop as well, I just noticed.
Actually, this makes me happy, because I'm not a big fan of Bridgestone/Firestone. I've been a GY/Dunlop user for awhile.

I will have to check mine but I think they are getting the stock tires confused with the ones that come on the HPF wheels.
