Then shut your flippin yap then!

Sheeze...What is it with some folks? They call someone out, then get overly defensive (butt hurt) when the poster tries to defend himself.

No need to defend anything on this forum. It's about ECONOMY people. That means some folks are doing everything in their power to maximize fuel efficiency. How do they show it? A quick camera phone shot of the trip meter prior to fill up. What else are you gonna' do? Submit two pictures? One of the before trip meter and one with the receipt against the trip meter?

If you're gonna' doubt fine...Just stop calling people out on it when you do.

<rant off>

Well, I say more power to them, if they can achieve that much mileage

The only way I could even possibly come close would be by driving downhill from Mt. Whitney portal (elevation 8,360 ft) to Death Valley (elevation -282 ft). Unfortunately, there is no gas station to fill up at Whitney portal, and my A/C would be strained at Death Valley.

No matter how many photos you take of the trip odometer, it would not be proof. Anyone could fake it.

It's a warning... lol it wouldn't go on at 10.5 because then you'd be out of gas and you'd have no time fill up. hahhaha

The gas light comes on when you get low in gas, not when you're out. Its just a reminder for you to find your gas station before you run out and are stranded, not to mention the damage to your fuel injectors.

ahhh take the BLUE pill

really here's the answer
Get a MT 1st than read the scangage schooling thread take notes and spend some time going slow and being hot. It honestly takes some real work to make these numbers.

I'd be more than happy to help with specific questions after you have spent the time reading on what has been written over and over on here.
