the 09 must handle great with stability control, its probably effortless to throw around those corners. MY moms element is awesome when the stability is turned on, when its off it'll over steer right into the ditch lol

 

Stability control doesn't improve everyday handling so much as it is a safety feature. Its more designed to help you maintain control of the car if you throw it into a corner too hard or make an emergency/evasive maneuver that could send the car into a skid or a slide. It isn't like a magic wand that makes the car handle better under all conditions, but it is nice to have in a crisis situation.
