Nobody get crazy yet.

The speculators are running like cockroaches from oil now. Nobody do anything crazy like uping their driving yet. We don't want to give them any reason to jump back into the oil market. With any luck we will be back in the low 3's before too long.

That's pretty optimistic, but I'll keep my fingers crossed, too.

I paid $4.43 at a place that said 'Gas' the other day. lol

I fill up once a week, after I put anywhere between 270-300 miles on the Fit. That's the lowest amount I can drive, unless I stop grocery shopping or going to work.

Gas has gone down to as low as 3.79 here lowest I have seen it. BUT.............. Some of the stations that only went down to 3.89 are already bringing their prices back up.

Gas here in Alberta Canada is around 1.28 per liter. That works out to about... $4.84 per U.S. gallon. As bad as that is, it's less than it was a couple weeks back at $1.34 per liter. And in some provinces it's peaked at around $1.50 per liter, or $5.68 per U.S. gallon. That's $6.82 per imperial gallon....

Personally I like $4+ a gallon gas.

If that is the price I need to pay to start getting big SUV's off the road and more quality small, high MPG cars in American showrooms then I am OK with that. A return to $3/gal or lower will just mean more idiots in Tahoes and Escalades taking up my rear view mirror and destroying the planet.

I am happy to pay the "kill the fullsize truck in america" surcharge thank you very much. I hope it goes to $5/gal.

I disagree because when gas starts getting to be $5 a gallon etc... that is when money is going to start getting tighter. I am a college student that already almost works full time so I am ok with gas being like $4 but when gas starts getting $5+ then I am going to have to start hypermilling or something.

Ohhhhhh god!!!! I said me start hypermilling in a sentence someone shoot me now!!!!!!!!

with the election coming in NOV. the prices will go down to 2.30 by NOV. and then slowly go up by thanks giving.

REMEMBER 2 years ago when this happened during the election.

its time to make your own gas. get a water electrolizer.
