2009 Honda Fit will be available early next week - one month earlier than planned - AutoblogGreen

 

The earliest build date I have seen is August 6th, which should land here in Central Florida right about the beginning of September.

 

I won't be able to buy one until I get my house sold and buy a new one, but I'll sure be looking to test drive one ASAP! Hopefully one of the 8 honda dealers within an hour from me will get one soon.

 

Don't quote me but if 8/26 is the real U.S. release date then that holds that there are prob 09 Fits somewhere on a dealers lot by now. Maybe a dealer's car jock can let you see one. Driving? Prob. not until tues. LOL

 

My dealer called and said my Fit is currently in Portland Oregon, heading to the Midwest and should be available to purchase sometime between 8-26 and 8-30 next week!

 

i have doubts about this... dealers in so cal don't even having pricing nor VIN numbers yet.

 

Same here. Just yesterday my dealer had no vin#s on any Fits he is getting. Also why would a Fit be in Portland Oregon going to Minneapolis, don,t they come in at San Diego. I would think dealers in Calif would get them first.

it's gonna be REALLY weird driving around an 08 in a sea of new 09's ;/ not really looking forward to this lol

yep, it's bad enough already I got people asking me what the car is. I'm amazed I even found out about it. I didn't know what a Fit was until late last year, like October lol now everyone will know exactly what a Fit is! I enjoyed being mysterious for a while lol
