Unhappy Screwed

Damnit!

So, I'm driving down to Waterbury, CT from Danvers, MA. The low air pressure light pops on. I didn't think anything of it because one of my tires was a little low the other day due to temperature changes. So, I get all the way there (145 miles) and stop at the nearest gas station. My rear driver's side tire is almost out of air. It's got a nice big screw in it. So, I patched it and have an appointment to get another tire tomorrow.

Then, when I went to check on the tire later, I noticed that the "H" symbol circle on my sport wheel had some scratches. Check the other ones ... they all have them. Someone must have tried to pry them off (unsuccessfully).

After that, I had to run to Home Depot. Out of nowhere, I get a little notification saying "Check Fuel Cap". WTF? I checked it and it was there and tight. Left Home Depot and I got the message again. I'll check it tomorrow when I go to get my tire changed.

Talk about a messed up day.

BTW - Those that live near Waterbury, CT ... the Holiday Inn on East Main Street is going to have their water resort open in about 2 weeks. It's called Coco Keys.

Lates.

Ahhh! That check fuel cap light is a bitch. For me, it randomly turned on one day and would not go off. Every time i started the car it would blink on. I had to take it to the honda dealer where they had to reset the onboard computer to get it to turn off. What a pain. Luckily i have an 07 so I don't have to deal with the tire pressure monitor.

The check fuel cap usually happens when you drive in cooler than normal, or at least me and my fam. The check fuel cap had popped on me when I was going to school early in the morning a couple times and once in the afternoon in the Fit and a couple of times in our Ridgeline.

The fuel tank is pressurized. You're suppose to turn it until it clicks 3 times, or at least that's what I do.
